The best events to attend

There are truly events (good ones) happening in Bend year-round, there is no "off-season" for festivities and celebrations.

Here are some personal favorites around town!

Balloons Over Bend

A summertime favorite! Check-out the hot air balloon launch (usually the end of July) at Jewell Elementary or in Riverbend Park by the Deschutes, it's a must-see!

This is a weekend-long set of events with hot air balloons launching at dawn and dusk, music festivals, lots of tasty food, events for kiddos, and more.

Bend Elks Baseball

If you love any part of watching baseball, whether the game itself or the snacks that come along with it, the Bend Elks offer summer season games right in the heart of town! Located 1 mile from Casa Virginia and very walkable. Tickets are $2 on Tuesdays!

Sisters Rodeo

Every June, the town of Sisters hosts "the biggest little show in the world!" It's a weekend full of fun, showcased skill, and flat out entertainment. If you find yourself in town, grab your boots and pull on up!

Sisters Quilt Show

This is arguably the most colorful and beautiful one-day event Central Oregon has to offer. Sisters has been put on the map by this event where craftspeople come from around the globe to share their artistry in quilt-making and more. This will keep you inspired for the years to come and is another must-see if you are in town for its date.

Smith Rock Ranch Pumpkin Patch

From late September leading up to the Halloween holiday, Smith Rock Ranch hosts the grandest pumpkin patch and Fall carnival you will ever seen. There are train rides for the babes, lots of fun carnival games, a pumpkin shooting range, a gigantic corn maize, and of course, a pumpkin patch ready for you to pick your bunch!
